CENTURY 21 Real Estate Corporation
Privacy Policy
We at Century 21 Real
Estate Corporation (referred to as "CENTURY 21," "we,"
"us," or "our" herein) recognize the importance of
protecting the privacy of individual-specific information ("Information')
collected about our customers and prospective customers (referred to as
"Customers," "you" or "your"). This privacy
statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to
correct or change it. At CENTURY 21, it is our intention to give you as much
control as possible over your privacy in regard to your Information and the use
we make of it in the course of your use of our website located at
www.century21.com (referred to as "website" or "our site").
To that end, CENTURY 21 gathers two types of information about Customers: data
that Customers provide through registration on our site and data CENTURY 21
gathers through aggregated tracking, mainly by tallying page views throughout
our sites. Such information enables us to tailor our content to Customers'needs
better. However, be assured that CENTURY 21 will not disclose personal
Information to third parties without your consent.
How does CENTURY 21 collect Information?
Information is collected by specifically requesting it from you. Generally this
occurs when you register at a site or request information or a service. Usually,
the CENTURY 21 site and its necessary service partners use your Information to
operate the site and to deliver its services. CENTURY 21 sites also use your
Information to inform you of other products or services available from CENTURY
21 and its affiliates.
Use of IP Addresses
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer
whenever you're surfing the Internet. Web servers automatically identify your
computer by its IP address.
CENTURY 21 and/or its affiliates collect IP addresses for the purposes of system
administration, to report aggregated information to our advertisers, and to
audit the use of our site. When Customers request pages from CENTURY 21 and/or
its affiliates'sites, our servers log the Customers IP addresses. We normally do
not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that a
Customer's session will be logged, but the Customer remains anonymous to us. We
can and will use IP addresses to identify a Customer when we feel it is
necessary to enforce compliance with our rules or terms of service or to protect
our service, site, customers or others.
Use Of Cookies
What are cookies? Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site transfers to
an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies make Web surfing
easier for you by saving your preferences while you are at our site. We never
save passwords or credit card information in cookies. The use of cookies is an
industry standard, and as such, you'll find them at most major Web sites.
By showing how and when Customers use a site, cookies help us see which areas
are popular and which are not. Many improvements and updates to the site are
based on such data as total number of visitors and pages viewed. This
information is most easily tracked with cookies. We use the information from
cookies to provide services better tailored to our Customers'needs.
CENTURY 21 and/or its affiliates have two primary uses for its cookies. First,
we use them to specify preferences. For example, Customers can specify keywords
across several categories or markets so you don't have to tell us over and over
again about the kinds of homes you want to see. Secondly, we use cookies to
track Customer trends and patterns. This helps us understand our Customers'needs
better and improve areas of CENTURY 21 and/or its affiliates service that our
Customers find valuable. While both of these activities depend on the use of a
cookie, visitors to CENTURY 21 and/or its affiliates always have the option of
disabling cookies via their browser preferences. Information from cookies is
sometimes attached to messages sent to our Customer Service department.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser
to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, note
that some parts of CENTURY 21 and/or its affiliates'services will not function
properly or may be considerably slower if you refuse cookies. For example,
without cookies, you will not be able to set personalized preferences; you also
may have difficulty completing marketing transactions.
You may occasionally get cookies from our advertisers. CENTURY 21 and/or its
affiliates do not control these cookies. The use of advertising cookies sent by
third-party servers is standard in the Internet industry.

What happens when you link to a third party site?

affiliates'sites you could be directed to other sites that are beyond our
control. There are links to other sites from CENTURY 21's and/or its
affiliates'pages that take you outside our service. For example, if you
"click" on a banner advertisement on a CENTURY 21 search result, the
"click" typically takes you off the CENTURY 21 site. These other sites
may include sites of advertisers, sponsors and partners that may use CENTURY
21's and/or its affiliates'logo as part of a co-branding agreement. These other
sites may send their own cookies to Customers, collect data or solicit
Information.
CENTURY 21 and its affiliates do not control such sites, and therefore, are not
responsible for their contents. CENTURY 21's and/or its affiliates'inclusion of
hyperlinks to these sites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such
sites or any association with their operators. CENTURY 21's privacy policy does
not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, which
is beyond the control of CENTURY 21 and its affiliates.
Please keep in mind that whenever you give out Information online (for example,
via message boards or chat lines), that Information can be collected and used by
people you don't know. While CENTURY 21 and its affiliates strive to protect
their Customers Information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any
Information you disclose online and you disclose such Information at your own
risk.
Is my Information secure from others using the CENTURY 21 site?
The importance of security for all Information associated with our customers is
of utmost concern to us. We exercise great care in providing secure transmission
of your Information from your PC to our servers. Unfortunately, no data
transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result,
while we strive to protect your Information, CENTURY 21 and its affiliates can't
ensure or warrant the security of any Information you transmit to us or from our

your transmission, CENTURY 21 uses industry standard efforts to safeguard the
confidentiality of you Information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers.
